Applications are indicative. Final selection depends on geometry, material, cavities and the mold. Weight per part is validated taking the runner (the plastic that fills the mold channels) and process margin into account.
We run molds that require temperature controllers, hot runner systems and hydraulic actuation.
We choose the resin based on the part's shape, its use, where it will be and how long it has to last.
When not. It becomes brittle in the cold. If the part will take impacts at low temperatures, this is not the one.
What we need to know. Does the part open and close? Will it be washed with hot water?
Review PP for my part ↗︎When not. It is less rigid. If the part has to bear weight without sagging, this is not the one.
What we need to know. Do you need it to give when squeezed, or to hold its shape?
Review PE for my part ↗︎When not. It is brittle: it shatters instead of bending, and several solvents affect it.
What we need to know. Can the part fall to the floor in normal use?
Review PS for my part ↗︎When not. Outdoors it yellows without an additive. As is, it is not for permanent outdoor use.
What we need to know. Is the part visible, or hidden? Does it carry a logo or texture?
Review ABS for my part ↗︎When not. It is the most expensive of the group, certain cleaning chemicals affect it, and a cut or notch greatly reduces its strength.
What we need to know. Do you need to see through the part, or just for it not to break?
Review PC for my part ↗︎When not. It needs pre-drying and the cycle is slower, so the part costs more than in rigid resins.
What we need to know. Does it have to seal, cushion or grip?
Review TPU for my part ↗︎These are some of the materials we process, among other grades and formulations. Selection is validated against the requirements of each project.
Review my material ↗︎Design, molds and injection molding, coordinated by one team.
From Naucalpan we develop and manufacture plastic products for companies and for our own lines.
That experience lets us see, in a drawing, what will get complicated in production. We say so before quoting, not after.
Family experience in manufacturing is our starting point. On that basis, CRETAPlast connects production knowledge with the development of new products.
We know how each material behaves and what tends to fail in production. That is why we stay with every project from the mold to the finished part.
Choose where you are. The walkthrough explains what we need from you and what we do at each stage.
Where does your project start?
We start by understanding what the product has to solve.
Your project
The function, the user, a reference and the volume you have in mind.
We pin down the scope and the requirements that will guide development.
Simulate your part and get an estimated breakdown of mold, material and production. If you prefer to talk to our team, you can also write to us.
Own brands
These lines are ours: we designed them, managed their molds and produce them here. Making them taught us the whole process, and that is what we apply to your project.
Explore the objects in the house and discover our brands.
We develop our own lines to understand the process end to end. Your project is yours: your mold, your design and your market do not enter our catalog. Your project is the core of the business.
For distributors, retailers and volume buyers. Add products to your request and we will send you a quote.
